Flight Simuators II and X: 25 years of progress
The sequence at the start of this video is subLOGIC's Flight Simulator II running on my Apple IIgs (at "Normal" speed, 1.02MHz). The second sequence is the current evolution of this simulator, Microsoft's Flight Simulator II running on my somewhat meager PC: P4 3.2GHz, GeForce 6600 GT, 1GB RAM. We've come a long way. http://www.bytecellar.com Sorry about veering off the runway. Hadn't properly setup rudder on my Logitech USB pad yet... :-\ ( Music in first squence by Mick Rippon: http://www.mickrippon.com/ )

Life In Tokyo: Vlog #25 Obasan No Harajuku
Sugamo, or as it is otherwise known "Old Ladies Harajuku," is one of my favorite spots in Tokyo. Especially on the 4th, 14th and 24th of each month when a special festival is held. The main street, Jizo-dori fills with street vendors, mainly catering to the elderly population. But due to the nostalgic tastes of the elderly who gather there alot of the stuff to be found is unique compared to other areas of Tokyo. I sampled one of the "unique" foods of yesteryear. My God... why!?!? But, on the whole a good time was had. By all I suppose except the guy being put in the ambulance at the end.
